This is just a quick reminder to let you know that a lot of our residents are reporting receiving e-mails from the same sender with notifications that they have won a lottery payout. 

I must emphasise, please do not open any attachments from people you don't know, as they may contain viruses.  In this case, the Word documents were an attempt to get banking details from you.   I have attached a copy of the Word document, under no circumstances should you respond to these type of requests.

It looks like Microsoft haven't learnt from the mistakes they made in January, and guess what there is a new security flaw in Internet Explorer.  This one isn't due to be fixed until approximately the 20th of April 2006.

 What is the nature of the security flaw?

Another day, Another Internet explorer security flaw Print E-mail

internetexp.jpgThe goverment security watchdog Itsafe has published a new security threat affecting internet explorer affecting those who have version 5.01.  Guess what, a website or malicious software can use this hole in the security to take control of your WHOLE system. 

I know that approximately 62% of the visitors to the website are affected by this flaw so please... Update your internet explorer or even better download FIREFOX.  Its Free, its secure, and you will not have this problem!
